As 2009 comes to a close...

To those who care to know,

Not too much new going on in our lives this year... We have settled into our new residence after moving in November of 2008. In the new place we enjoyed having the extra space to host our usual parties for Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Halloween, and Christmas.. with the addition of a Luau party in the summer. Our dogs, Sprinkles and Lucy are doing well and enjoying the yard at the new place. 

In July we drove to Toms River, NJ with our friend Shane to visit another friend, Gerry for a night. In August, Alicia enjoyed a girls beach trip to Ocean City, MD for one night. We served as groomsman and bridesmaid in the wedding of our friends, Alicia's cousin Erin and her husband Joe in September. We also celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary in Reading, PA visiting Roadside America, Koziar's Christmas Village, Hershey Gardens & Chocolate World, shopping at the outlets, and doing a wine tasting in the area.

As far as work... Rodney is still working full time as Dining Room Supervisor at Oregon Dairy Restaurant. Big news there is that Oregon Dairy will be opening on Sundays beginning in January. We have mixed feelings about the news. Alicia is still babysitting for her sister and selling items on ebay, but may be making some changes on that front come 2010.

For those of you who don't know, we have been trying for a baby for the last few years. We haven't taken any major steps other than trying and praying! LOL... But, trusting and believing that God will provide us with what we can handle when we are ready, we have just been going with the flow as of now. Prayers and good thoughts are always appreciated! :) 

And so... we are looking forward to 2010 with anticipation of our 5 year wedding anniversary and the possibility of some major life changes... stay tuned! Hope you (whomever is reading this) are doing well and have a wonderful Christmas and new year!
